Harambe the Gorilla. The death of Harambe, a 17 year old Western Lowland Gorilla, at the Cincinnati zoo created huge public outcry after a small child fell into his enclosure. The Zoo shot the Gorilla Dead. Michelle has tracked a family of lowland gorillas in the Virunga Mountain Range in East Africa, Uganda. It is home to some of the world’s remaining 700 Mountain Gorillas.
